Capital Planning and Development

Welcome to Capital Planning and Development at Washington State University. We are a department within Facilities Services. Facilities Services is the steward of Washington State University’s real assets and CPD is responsible for sustaining, planning, and improving the university’s built environment.

In support of the university mission we at CPD plan, design, construct, and preserve WSU’s physical facilities and surrounding living environment providing collaborative, comprehensive planning.

Our teamwork focuses on excellence in leadership and management of design, technical expertise and quality construction based on just and fair administration. Our staff of motivated professionals has a commitment to integrity and professionalism. We are a diverse workplace that respects and supports professional development of all staff.
