WSU Space Management uses the 2006 Postsecondary Education Facilities Inventory and Classification Manual (FICM)  from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) which is located in the U.S. Department of Education - Institute of Education Sciences (IES).  This is the official guide for the classification and inventory of space at all WSU campuses.
