The WSU Department of Capital Planning & Development is currently recruiting for key positions in our dynamic, professionally-challenging, and team-oriented professional office. The Department has successfully completed the planning, design, and construction administration of $500M in major capital projects since 2000.
Washington State University was founded in 1890 and is located on a beautiful 1900-acre campus, with a student body of approximately 20,000 in the picturesque rolling hills of the Palouse, WSU is a member of the Pac-10 Conference with 10 colleges and a Graduate School offering strong and varied academic programs. The liberal arts and sciences have an important place in the curriculum, along with business, education, architecture, interior design, pharmacy, nursing and the traditional land-grant programs in agriculture, engineering, and an internationally-renowned veterinary medicine program. In addition to the Pullman campus, WSU’s growing urban campuses are located on a 50-acre urban site within central Spokane Washington’s vibrant University District; a 350-acre Vancouver Washington campus serving southwestern Washington and the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area; and the 120-acre Tri-Cities campus in Richland, Washington. WSU Extension offices and research laboratory facilities are located statewide.
